4. I've sent an email to request a song and the song hasn't been played. Is my request being ignored?

Not at all! Due to the volume of emails we receive every week, a lot of emails aren't viewed until a later date, when the show in which you have requested to see a song on has passed. Also, many of the shows are programmed in advance as all the songs need to clear copyright and licences before they are played on air.

5. I've sent an email to Chartbusting 80s and haven't received a reply yet. Why not?

We try to answer all the emails we receive, but as a large volume of email is sent through each week, it is difficult to reply to every email individually. We DEFINITELY read everything though!

Unfortunately, it is due to the copyright and licensing issue. Some artists' have refused to allow their songs to be shown at all, and some record labels have not agreed to our requests to broadcast certain clips and artists.
